Our role in the project was to make a virtual tour of the water route from Saimaa lake to Onega lake. We visited 11 cities and pictured all yacht harbours, infrastructure, tourism infrastructure and sightseings. We made totally over 100 panoramic photographs and programmed a web site with information about the route, interactive map and virtual tours. You can check the site at:
The other goals of the project are:
- Economic cooperation between the regions of Three Great Lakes (Lake Saimaa, Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega) by development of common tourist product
- Cooperation promotion between regions of South Karelia, South Savo and Leningrad region in sailing issues, exchange of experience between key market players
